The Butterfly Effect

BUTTERFLY EFFECT is one of the most interesting, original films I have seen in about a decade, on par with such films as USUAL SUSPECTS and MEMENTO for it's power and originality. The story is best left unmentioned, as any information would border on a spoiler. The acting is very good, especially (and suprisingly) Ashton Kutcher and the always incredible Amy Smart. Kudos, as well, to the young actors and supporting characters that make this film a unique experience. It the kind of film you'll be contemplating for days and weeks after viewing it. (The DVD offers a director's cut that is very interesting, in addition to about a million extras and boatloads of commentary.) It was instantly one of my favorite films and one I have recommended to many, many people.
