In 1982, George Gallo moved to Los Angeles from Mamaroneck, New York, with hopes of becoming a filmmaker. It took four years for his first film to get produced, the film, "Wise Guys" starred Danny Devito and was followed up with classic "Midnight Run" with Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin. In 1990, he wrote and directed the critically acclaimed "29th Street" which starred Danny Aiello and Anthony LaPaglia. Among his other credits is the 1995 hit, "Bad Boys" starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Gallo also wrote the sequel to the Bruce Willis/Matthews Perry hit comedy, "The whole Nine Yards", and will direct "Friend Again."
