David Goyer is a comic book enthusiast and lover of the horror and sci-gfi genres. He graduated from USC School of Cinema-Television in 1988. It was ten years until his first screenwriting credit. He's penned the popular hits "Blade" and "Blade II", as well as the metaphysical thriller "Dark City" and the sequel, "Crow: City of Angels". He recently made his directorial debut with a drama called "Zigzag", which tells the story of an autistic boy (Sam Jones III) who must steal to provide rent for his abusive father (Wesley Snipes). Much of the film deals with Zigzag's inner monologues as he deals with the consequences of his actions. "Zigzag" is based on a novel by Landon J. Napoleon.
