Looking for a Screenwriter
March 13th, 2009
I'm looking for a screenwriter who is hungry for a great story. It
would be an adaptation from my thriller novel about a deranged medical
student who believes he can bring John Lennon and George Harrison back
from the dead for one final Beatles world tour concert.
The protagonist is a middle aged, gay detective who is trying to heal his broken relationship with his son. The secondary protagonist is a female detective dealing with the loss of her fiance in a plane crash over six years ago. Both are wounded. Both tend to be loners, but now they have to depend upon each other to catch this killer. The novel is finished, but not published. I'm open to several possibilities: Write the screenplay for a fee. Write the screenplay for 50% ownership and 50% of the payments, royalties, etc. when it's sold. This will be a collaborative effort between myself and the screenplay writer.
If you are interested, please email me the following:
Who you are Your writing credits Any screenplays you have written Screenplays you have actually sold And why you would want this project
Thank you very much, Brett Valette
