Austin Film Festival 2006

If you are interested in screenwriting and using the language of film to tell a story, then the Austin Film Festival & Conference is where you need to be.
The Austin Film Festival & Conference is celebrating its 13th year, October 19-26. This year’s theme is “Telling Your Story By Any Means Necessary.” Through a series of panels and films, we’ll have established screenwriters and filmmakers sharing their experiences on how they got their script sold, their movie made, their pilot picked up, etc., in spite of industry, financial and/or other obstacles. We have an amazing group of panelists* lined up, including Sydney Pollack, Shane Black, David Milch, Susannah Grant, John August and Jessica Bendinger to name just a few.
Austin is a relaxed city and AFF is no different. No velvet ropes or VIP rooms. Just a bunch of filmmakers and writers – of all levels – gathered to talk about the art and business of storytelling through film.
We have Badges offering different levels of access and discounted registration through September 22nd. For more information, log onto our website at www.austinfilmfestival.com or call 1.800.310.FEST. If you have any questions about the Conference, please e-mail maya@austinfilmfestival.com.
