Ex-Marine Authors Argue over JARHEAD

Former Marine and author Joel Turnipseed, who wrote the gulf war memoir "Baghdad Express", has claimed that parts of his book were used in the movie "Jarhead," based on the book by Anthony Swofford.
When he went to see an advanced screening of the film, directed by Sam Mendes, “I turned to my friend during the movie and said, ‘I have always wanted to see my book on the big screen and there it is; I just didn't get credit for it,’” Turnipseed told the New York Times.
