The science-fiction comic AXA, about the blonde sword-swinging babe with the same name: AXA, will become a feature film!
The script, written by Swedish screenwriter J. Pingo Lindstrom, is closely based on the Spanish illustrator Enric Badia Romero's comic, AXA.
Currently, the script is around producers in Europe and USA.
AXA is a strong girl in her early 20's, living 100 years after the nuclear war destroyed the world. With her friends the robot Mark and love-of-her-life Matt, she travles the wasteland and fights dangerous mutants and villians with her sharp sword.
The comic was published in a very large amount of news-press during the late 70's and the 1980's. It was created for the UK-based paper The Sun, with
approximatly eight million readers daily. It has also been published in several books, and still have a great audience around the world.
J. Pingo Lindstrom has a WGA-signatory agent in USA, and he has written several feature films and short films.
