Script Report: STORM ON THE HORIZON

According to Reuters/Hollywood Reporter, Vin Di Bona Prods. has obtained the feature film rights to "Storm on the Horizon," by former Marine Infantry officer David Morris, who will be an adviser on the film. The story is about a soldier's-eye view of one of the most intense battles of the Persian Gulf War. "Storm on the Horizon" was published by Free Press in February. Di Bona head of development Peter Schankowitz said that the story, "takes place in the Gulf War, where a motley crew of soldiers held off a major army. It's a great story." No word on who will adapt the screenplay.
