According to reports, Roy Freirich (WINGED CREATURES) is writing SALVATI for DreamWorks. Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald producers.
Reportedly, the true story centers on Joseph Salvati, who was wrongly sentenced to life in prison for a 1965 murder that was commited by an FBI informer. After a 20-year legal battle and 30 years in jail, Salvati proved his innocence and unwittingly uncovered a conspiracy between the FBI and the Mafia, dating back to FBI boss J. Edgar Hoover's era.
