Script Sale: Chasing Vermeer

Warner Bros. has secured the film rights to CHASING VERMEER, a bestselling children's book published by Scholastic. Screenwriter Matt Nix will adapt for the big screen. Written by a former school teacher, Blue Balliet and illustrated by Brett Helquist, CHASING VERMEER centers on an investigation of the theft of a 17th century painting by artist Johannes Vermeer by two children
