Indie Producers Get NICKEL AND DIMED
Independent producers Richard Brick, Marcia Nasatir, and
Karen Danaher-Door in association with Texas Supreme Court
Justice (!) Rose Spector have purchased the rights to Barbara
Ehrenreich true life inspired novel NICKEL AND DIMED.
STORYLINE: Ehrenreich posed as a divorced woman returning
to the work force and took various low paying jobs including
waitress, hotel maid, and Wal-Mart clerk in order to chronicle
the lives of people trying to survive on substandard wages.
