Chili Palmer Will BE COOL
MGM has secured the rights to BE COOL, Elmore Leonard's
followup to his novel GET SHORTY, which was turned into a
quite successful John Travolta flick. No writer has yet been
hired to adapt. Danny Devito's Jersey Films will again
produce, although there has been no announcement yet on
Travolta's participation. After BATTLEFIELD EARTH (2000)
I think Johnny would do well to not pass on this one.
STORYLINE: Having conquered the film biz, everyone's
favorite gangster, Chili Palmer, sets his sights on the
music industry.
