Argos Cine has acquire the rights to the fact-based novel NEWS
OF A KIDNAPPING by Gabriel Garcia. Aida Bortnik (ASHES FROM
PARADISE, 1997) has been assigned to adapt. Luis Mandoki
(AMAZING GRACE, 2000)is attached to direct what will be a
Spanish language film.
STORYLINE: Concerns the kidnapping of 10 VIP's by drug
lords looking to avoid extradition.
