Miramax Announces Winner Of Screenplay Competition
Miramax has announced the winner of its Project Greenlight
screenplay comtest. STOLEN SUMMER written by Pete Jones beat
out 7,000 other entries to claim the top prize. Jones will
eceive a $1 million budget to direct and prodcue the flick
which will be executive produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
Jones will also be the focus of a 13 part documentary to be
produced by HBO about the making of STOLEN SUMMMER.
STORYLINE: The story of an Irish Catholic boy and his
terminally ill Jewish friend.
