The Return Of Writer/Director/Actor Ed Burns
Ed Burns, the writer/director/actor who shot to fame with his
1995 flick THE BROTHERS MCMULLEN, will once again star in and
direct a film based on his own script after a few years of just
acting in films such as SAVING PRIVATE RYAN (1998) and FIFTEEN
MINUTES (2001). Eddie will return to his hyphenate ways with
ASH WEDNESDAY which was just recently picked up by IFC Prods.
Oliver Platt will co-star in the pic that starts shooting in NY
ext month.
STORYLINE: 1980's period piece involving a man who must
save his kid brother from the Irish and Italian Mob.
