Mainline Prods. Sets Up Writer/Director Matt Dillon
Mainline Prods. has struck a deak with actor Matt Dillon to
produce BENEATH THE BANYAN TREES. Dillon wrote the script
with Barry Gifford (LOST HIGHWAY, 1997). Dillon will make
his directorial debut with the pic in which he will star
alongside James Caan. United Artists Films will release the
film.
STORYLINE: A con artist visits Cambodia to collect his
cut of an insurance scam, but he finds himself in trouble in
this strange new environment.
