Stage Troupe Options Steinbeck Novel
The Steppenwolf Theatre stage troupe has optioned the rights
to the John Steinbeck novel, THE WINTER OF OUR DISCONTENT. Daisy
Foote will adapt the novel which the troupe hopes will be its
first foray into film production.
STORYLINE: A down and out store clerk tries to scam his way
into winning a contract to build an airport in his hometown.
