Neal Moritz's Columbia-based company has purchased the
comedy spec WHITEY this past week.
STORY LINE: a "Shaft" type, one cool customer,
African-American con artist, in New York City is accused
of murder and must clear his name.
DEAL: $400,000 against $700,000
WRITERS: Buddy Johnson (SCARY MOVIE, and co-wrote
Columbia's upcoming TEEN MOVIE)
