Summit Picks Up Student's Pitch
Summit Entertainment has purchased the action pitch, MR AND
MRS. SMITH from Simon Kinberg, a graduate student in Columbia
University's film program. This is the fourth project that
Kinberg has sold while at Columbia. Who says film school isn't
worth it? Akiva Goldsman is set to produce.
STORYLINE: Husband and wife have an unhappy marriage. Only
they both happen to be assassins and wind up hunting
each other down.
