Revolution Keeps It In The FAMILY
Joe Roth's Revolution Studios has picked up FAMILY FIRM by Sara
Kernochan, whose previous writing credits include 91/2 WEEKS (1986)
and the upcoming WHAT LIES BENEATH (2000). The project will be
produced by the academy award winning duo of Dan Jinks and Bruce
Cohen who were responsible for AMERICAN BEAUTY (1999).
STORYLINE: True story of Rick Platt, owner of a multi-million dollar
company, who is bankrupted by embezzling employees. Rick,
having absolutley no legal experience and acting as his own
counsel, then sues his accounting firm for negligence . He
enlists the help of his wife and teenage sons to win a huge
settlement.
