UNDERCOVER BROTHER will go from the Internet to big screen...
It is the first major studio deal to turn an Internet
created series into a feature film. Author and screen-
writer John Ridley pitched the idea to Universal and
Imagine, who loved it. The live-animation series is
called "Undercover Brother."
Story line: a super-fly dude with an afro, cool
duds, and who acts as a secret agent for the Brotherhood
-- an organization that levels the playing field for
African Americans.
Deal: $1 million against $2 million
