Warner Bros. acquires THE PATIENT
Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired the film rights
to Michael Palmer's bestselling medical thriller "The
Patient." It has been reported that the production
company of "ER" star Noah Wyle was involved as well.
Story line: Jessie Copeland, a neurosurgeon who
who helped to design a robot that can perform brain surgery
is taken hostage (along with others) by a terrorist who
demands that the device operate on his own brain tumor.
