CITIZEN JANE has a home.
James Dalessandro and David Mehnert's nonfiction book "Citizen Jane"
was optioned by Laurie Goldstein of Robert Greenwald Productions.
Story line: a 61-year-old widow who was romanced by a family
friend, who eventually murdered her 88-year-old aunt and fled
with her life's savings. The widow would spend the next 13 years
fighting the criminal justice system to bring justice against the
killer.
Deal: high-five-figures, against six if produced.
