Ron Bass will pen the adaptation of "Headhunters," a comic
ovel picked up by Fox last fall.
Story line: four New Jersey women who jet to Monte Carlo
and pretend to be rich heiresses in hopes of finding wealthy
husbands. There, they are targeted by four down-on-their-luck
gigolos trying to pass as wealthy playboys.
Deal: rumored to be low high-six-figures.
Writer credits: recently: "Memoirs of a Geisha (2001),
"Snow Falling on Cedars" (1999, "Entrapment" (1999) and many more.
