Jerry Bruckheimer Films is drunk over its acquisition to
the screen rights of the romantic comic novel "The Secret
Dream World of a Shopoholic," penned by Sophia Kinsella
a pseudonym of the real Brit writer.(Carrie Fisher and Elaine
Pope will be penning the screenplay together.)
Story line: concerns an angst-ridden 25-year-old financial
journalist who deals with the stress of uncovering bank fraud
by endlessly shopping. She ends up both hopelessly in debt and
omantically attached to someone she is investigating.
