Disney's Touchstone Pictures has acquired scribe Gary Scott Thompson's
suspense-thriller pitch "88 Minutes."
Story line: one day man a receives a mysterious phone call telling
him he has 88 minutes to live, casting him on a frantic search for the person
who's trying to kill him.
Deal: low-six figures to mid-six if project is produced.
Writer credits: "Racer X" (in production)
