Hollywood Script Deals
Fine Line has won a competitive auction for the screen
option to Julian F. Thompson's novel "The Grounding of
Group 6." No word yet on who will adapt.
Story line: a 17-year-old whose older brother has
disappeared from a mental institution. The teen embarks
on a cross-country journey to find his brother and along
the way develops a romantic relationship with one of his
old friends.
Deal: rumored to be in the high-six to seven figure range
