over its acquisition of first-time scribe Austin Hodgens'
thriller spec script "Close to Me."
Story line: a high school teacher's life spins out
of control when he finds himself the victim of a stalker.
He is then blackmailed and framed for the murder of a student.
Deal: low-six to high-six if produced.
Writer credits: none, he's a new-be.
