Hollywood Script Deals
In a preemptive deal worth just under $1 million, Warner
Books has acquired newbe novelist Nancy Geary's murder
story "Miss Fortune."
Story line: Set in the Southampton country club, this
is an old-fashion whodunit which concerns the murder
of a despised socialite.
Deal: un-disclosed
Writer credits: This is the first book from Geary, a Harvard
Law grad and former assistant attorney general of
Massachusetts.
