Artisan Entertainment has gobbled up the drama/comedy
"Side Ways" by scribe Alexander Payne.
Story line: (a very familiar one for us) a frustrated
40 something screenwriter takes a road trip with his
buddy, who he happens to currently despise, and from
which a humorous adventure takes place.
Deal: 1.5 million
