Hollywood Script Deals
Fine Line Features is negotiating to pick up the North American rights
to "Domani" (Tomorrow) by scribe Francesca Archibugi. In a rare U.S.
distributor acquisition, FLF will pick up the Italian-language production,
which is still at script stage. Shooting gets under way Nov. 29 for 10
weeks in Umbria.
Story line: the story is a drama and centers on relationships formed
between three families during the period surrounding the 1997 earthquake.
Deal: $4.5 million
Writer/director credits: "Towards Evening," "The Great Pumpkin,"
"With Closed Eyes" and "Shooting the Moon." (All Italian produced)
