According to Variety, Bruce Davey and Mel Gibson's Paramount-based Icon Prods. has forked out a six-figure sum for the script DON WAYNE WYOMING with " Saturday Night Live" standout Will Ferrell attached to star.
Written by Jerry Collins and Boyd Hale, the script is a broad buddy comedy about two guys who pursue their lifelong dream of driving an 18-wheel truck. Icon is fast-tracking the film and looking for a director.
