Script Report: CHARLIE'S ANGELS 2
November 17th, 2000
Yeah, it was a dreadfully written film with a brainless plot and some bad acting. But there was plenty of hot bodies and revealing clothing, and some decent action. So being the brain-dead moviegoers we are, we eat it up. Well congratulations, Columbia Pictures is now gearing up to produce a sequel to CHARLIE'S ANGELS.
To kick things off it's being reported that they will be making a seven-figure offer to screenwriter John August, who shared writing credit on the original. Something I'm sure he's proud of. They will ask August to get writing on the project ASAP.
IF you recall August has been a hot property of late. He wrote GO, is writing BIG FISH, a Columbia project that Steven Spielberg will direct. He's also polishing up MINORITY REPORT for Speilberg as well.
