Danny Devito's Jersey Films acquires ON MERMAID AVENUE

Its been reported in Variety that Author Binnie Kirshenbaum's ON MERMAID AVENUE (published in 1993 by Fromm Intl.) was picked up by Jersey Films earlier this week. Danny Devito will produce.
Tim John (DR. JEKYLL AND MS. HYDE, 1995) to adapt the screenplay, which will be retitled MERMAIDS IN MANHATTAN. The story is set in Gotham, and it is the tale of female bonding and the search for men and happiness.
