Script Report: EASY RIDER A.D.
I'm scratching my head over this one. There's news of a sequel to EASY RIDER. According to reports, Lauren Lloyd (FREDDY GOT FINGERED, DROP ZONE) will produce a sequel to the 1969 Dennis Hopper flick titled EASY RIDER A.D. Reportedky the story finds "Wyatt 'Captain America' Earp (Peter Fonda in the original) alive but in prison, falsely accused of the murder of George Hanson (Jack Nicholson). Apparently a new figure will be thrown into the plot, who proves Wyatt innocent and then sets off with him on a journey to once more try and find America". Shooting begins next Spring based on Sean Jacques script, and will utilise a $25-35 million budget. Wow, how many sequels are we going to have?
