Script Report: THE FOUNTAIN

Apparently the folks at Warner Bros. can't get enough of futuristic sci-fi movies. With the new MATRIX flicks and a new TERMINATOR in the pipeline, they have just greenlighted another future based science fiction story: THE FOUNTAIN (pka THE LAST MAN), to begin filming in late October in Australia by director Darren Aronofsky (REQUIEM FOR A DREAM). The film will star Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. Aronofsky co-wrote the script with relative newcomer Ari Handel.
