Script Report: SHRINKING VIOLET

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Revolution Studios East picked up the spec script SHRINKING VIOLET from the Emmy-nominated "Sex and the City" writing team Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky for a mid-six figure sum. This is the writers' first feature film deal and be produced by Revolution in association with Julia Roberts' studio-based Shoelace Prods. The storyline is being witheld, but the report suggests it's a love story set in the world of therapy.
Shoelace acquires projects that are both starring vehicles for Roberts and projects she only produces, and this project falls in the latter category according to a Revolution spokesperson.
