Chris Morgan has apparently rewritten Larry Cohen's original screenplay CELLULAR for New Line Cinema who picked the project up from turnaround at Columbia.
The story, as far as we know, deals with a guy who receives a call on his cell phone from a kidnapped woman and must save her before his phone battery goes dead.
