Script Report: TOMB RAIDER 2

According to Variety, Paramount Pictures is moving quickly with a sequel to TOMB RAIDER with Angelina Jolie set to reprise her role as Croft.
Jan De Bont, according to the report, will most likely direct the film. There are hopes of getting the action flick in production by early fall. The trade adds that a strong draft of the script was turned in by Dean Georgaris, who also wrote the Paramount drama PAYCHECK to which RED DRAGON director Brett Ratner has joined, and SAM AND GEORGE.
