Script Report: SPIDER-MAN 2

Columbia Pictures said Thursday it plans to launch a SPIDER-MAN sequel in two years, on May 7, 2004.
Marvel Enterprises Inc., the comic book publishing and entertainment company with rights to the web-slinging crime fighter, said earlier this week that Columbia had paid a seven-figure advance for SPIDER-MAN 2 and a third film is planned for 2006.
No word on who will pen the screenplay.
