Script Report: BAD NEWS

Milos Forman, Regency Enterprises and 20th Century Fox, are in negotiations to adapt Donald Westlake novel "Bad News." Forman is currently writing the script for BAD NEWS with Doug Wright (QUILLS). Phoenix Pictures will produce along with Michael Hausman, Forman's longtime producing partner.
The story deals with a career criminal who attempts a takeover of an Indian casino only to discover he's been setup to be ripped off.
