Script Report: SURVIVING CHRISTMAS

Director Mike Mitchell, he of DEUCE BIGALOW: MALE GIGOLO fame, looks to be the choice to helm the Ben Affleck starrer, SURVIVING CHRISTMAS.
Shooting is scheduled to start in October or November. The story centers on a man faced with spending Christmas alone tries to remedy his holiday depression by going back to the last place he was happy, his childhood home, and convince the family living there to take him in.
Writers who have reportedly hacked away at the script include: Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont (JOSIE AND THE PUSSY CATS, CAN'T HARDLY WAIT), Jeff Ventimilia, and Josh Sternin.
