In the worst news since PATCH ADAMS II, there is talk of a sequel to TRAINING DAY. The story would center on Ethan Hawkes character, now that hes more seasoned and tough. Im sure theyll make it ironic and have Ethan the hard-ass who knows all the kinks, right?
Doesnt anyone realize that TRAINING DAY was held up only by Denzels bad-boy performance? Hawke was miscast and dull. And even if David Ayer comes back to write it, no one wants to see a movie about Jake Hoyt.
