Cosby/Whitaker find their fat bastard

After a nationwide search, Omar Benson Miller has signed to play '70s cartoon character Fat Albert.
Bill Cosby wrote the script with Charles Kipps. Forest Whitaker will direct. In what sounds like a mistake, the story is said to be about Fat Albert and his cartoon buddies magically breaking through to the real world, resulting in havoc and high jinks.
