SCRIPT REPORT: CAT IN THE HAT

Mike Myers has signed to star in the adaptation of Dr. Seuss classic THE CAT IN THE HAT. Bo Welch, the famous production designer, will make his directorial debut on the project.
The film is being co-produced by DreamWorks, but theres no word whether or not Eric Roths excellent script will be used. Roths script gave a structure to that book as proficiently as anything could have.
Filming is set to start in the fall.
