In a deal being compared to that of Peter Jacksons on LORD OF THE RINGS, BLADE II director Guillermo del Toro is in negotiations to direct Disneys big-screen treatment of the famous 1908 childrens book, WIND IN THE WILLOWS, by Kenneth Grahame.
WIND tells the adventure of four animals.
There is no writer or script yet. del Toro, should he make the film, will help craft the tales ascension to the screen.
