Fincher STAYs

The buzz around the spec script STAY continues to grow and mutate. Lets hope its for real this time.
David Fincher has come aboard to develop (my favorite BS term) the project, with an eye toward directing.
For all his crazy, violence-filled films, Hollywood loves David Fincher. Every big spec script or hot book passes by his desk either first or eventually.
Whoever said style doesnt pay off?
STAY, written by David Benioff, is about a psychologist at an Ivy League university who tries to prevent one of his students from committing suicide. It sold for 1.8 million dollars. PEARL HARBOR director Mike Bay is one of the producers on the film.
