T.V. Writer/Producer Whedon Does it Again...

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox Broadcasting Co. has a commitment to FIREFLY, anew sci-fi action-drama from BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER creator/executive producer Joss Whedon, for 13 total episodes. The series will launch with a two-hour pilot episode, which Whedon is writing and will direct.
The story is Set 400-500 years in the future in a newly established Union of Planets. Then it centers on the mercenary crew of a small transport spaceship (Serenity).
