Soderbergh and Gaghan See No Evil...
December 13th, 2001
Oscar winning director Steven Soderbergh is developing a CIA thriller modeled after TRAFFIC.
Soderbergh and George Clooney have made a deal with Warner Bros. to make the upcoming Robert Baer memoir "See No Evil: The True Story of a Foot Soldier in the CIA's Counter Terrorism War." Screenwriter Steve Gaghan, who won the Oscar for TRAFFIC, looks like a lock to adapt.
"See No Evil" will be published in February by Crown, and tells the story of the Middle East after the end of the Cold War, and the CIA's lapses that allowing the creation of terrorist networks.
