Script Report: LIGHT OF PEACE

It looks like Roland Emmerich is going to direct the World War I drama LIGHT OF PEACE which his Centropolis Entertainment bought for low-six figures. The script is by newbe Mirko Betz, who wrote it while in the UCLA screenwriting program. Emmerich called the script "a powerful character piece."
The story centers on two soldiers on opposite sides of the war who form an unlikely friendship.
